Great News – Smarthinking Can Help You!
We are pleased to announce that Smarthinking, a national online tutoring service, is available to all SHU students. This free and easy-to-use service can make a difference in the quality of your English, math, psychology, sociology, accounting or science coursework.
Sacred Heart University is collaborating with the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium and Smarthinking, a national, online tutoring organization that assists students in writing, math, psychology, sociology, accounting and computer science to help enhance their coursework. This dynamic program, funded through a grant from the Davis Foundation, is available to all SHU students, at no charge. You simply submit your essay, math problem, computer science or accounting issue to Smarthinking's Website. Here is what you will receive:

Personal attention from a highly experienced college instructor who teaches the subject in which you need assistance.

Suggestions on grammar, content, organization and similar suggestions that will strengthen your essays in any subject.

Direct assistance with math or science issues; a step-by-step approach that will help you understand the material more clearly.

24- 48-hour turnaround time guaranteed.
All online tutors are available to review your work seven days a week. You will receive prompt, in-depth and expert advice every time, which will help you polish and revise your work and improve your chances for a higher grade on an essay or other coursework.
