WILLIAM F. MAYER, PSY.D.
William F. Mayer, Psy.D.Degree obtained and schools attended:

Biography:  After years of teaching in the psychology department, Dr. Mayer now acts as the Director of the Master of Science in Applied Psychology program. Dr. Mayer has years of experience practicing as a licensed clinical psychologist providing a wide range of services to children, adolescents and adults. Known in the community as Dr. Will, his true passion is working with children and their families to provide the best atmosphere for children to prosper. In addition, Dr. Mayer also has a specialty in sports psychology, both advocating for the true benefits of youth sports and helping athletes with a variety of performance issues. Dr. Mayer works with athletes of all levels including consultation with the Sacred Heart Athletic department as well as the United Football League.

Dr. Mayer aims to bring his clinical experience into the classroom to highlight the real world application of theory and practice.
