The University of Notre Dame’s annual Hesburgh Alumni Lecture will take place at Sacred Heart University on Thursday, March 4, at 7 P.M. The nationally respected architect, Professor Duncan G. Stroik, will address the question, “Is There a Sacred Architecture?” in Sacred Heart University’s Schine Auditorium. CLEP testing site launches at the Stamford Campus The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 34 examinations. Earn credit for knowledge you've acquired through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, or internships.
In addition to CLEP, the University awards college credit for certain Excelsior and DSST testing as well as non collegiate sponsored learning evaluated by the American Council on Education (ACE) and the New York Regents. Thousands of Americans from New England have found their way to Port-au-Prince to aid in the relief effort. Sacred Heart University, with campuses in Fairfield and in Stamford, has launched a new program to fill an educational need for the many who are going to Haiti and who may be unprepared for the challenges presented by the language and the culture.
