Welcome to the English Language Institute of Sacred Heart University. Our ESL (English as a Second Language) classes have over the years helped students from all backgrounds to improve their English language skills. In an effort to meet the needs of our diverse population, we have added new and improved courses to our list of ESL classes.

One-on-one student tutoring – FREE
Classes day, evening and weekend!
All new students will be required to take an English language placement test so that we may determine the level of language proficiency. We can also use the results of an English test that a student may have taken elsewhere within the past four months.
