
Michael D. Larobina is a professor of management and associate dean for program development and corporate relations at the John F. Welch College of Business. He has been a member of the faculty at Sacred Heart University since 1990 where he teaches courses in business law and international trade law.
Professor Larobina is an attorney admitted to practice law in Connecticut, the District of Columbia and New York. He earned his bachelor's degree in American History from Pace University graduating with honors receiving the outstanding graduate award from the department of history, economics and political science and is a member of Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society.
Professor Larobina went on to earn a doctorate in jurisprudence studies from the University of Bridgeport School of Law and a post-doctorate degree in international business and trade law from Fordham University School of Law.
His research interests have focused on international trade law, the resolution of international commercial disputes and business law topics. Professor Larobina has served in the public sector as a former member of the Stamford Board of Representatives and Board of Finance. He is currently serving as Director of Legal Affairs and Corporation Counsel for the city of Stamford. He has practice law in Connecticut for twenty years advising individuals, businesses and public agencies on matters involving commercial transactions, administrative law and probate law.
