The Woodwind Ensemble (MU-299WW) focuses on small ensemble performance techniques and literature.  This small chamber ensemble allows members to focus on individual performance in a smaller and more intimate setting. Woodwind ensemble performs music from a wide range of repertoire, including classical, contemporary, and popular styles. Woodwind Ensemble performs throughout the semester at various venues.  

The Woodwind Ensemble can take many different forms.  It can be a full woodwind ensemble for all woodwind instruments or it can take the forms of sax quartets, flute choirs, clarinet choirs, or something similar provided that instrumentation allows.  

Woodwind Ensemble can can be taken for one credit, or for those over the full-time limit, registering for 0 credits is possible. Woodwind Ensemble can be applied toward the Music Minor.
