The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the John F. Welch College of Business will prepare you for advancement in today's complex and dynamic environment. The Welch MBA places strong emphasis on:
- the application of business theory to the realities of the business world
- recognizing the demands of an increasingly competitive, multicultural, global economy
- managing your work and personnel with the highest ethical standards
- case studies & teamwork in an interactive, problem-based learning mode of instruction.
Sacred Heart University's Welch MBA degree program focuses on a dynamic Integrated Core of courses which examines all the functions within a business enterprise, as well as external factors, taught in a business-process approach. Beyond the Core, quantitative competencies and leadership development, Welch MBA students may choose to study in one of three academic concentrations:
Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing.
To help students achieve success in the program, the University relies on full-time faculty members who are dedicated to teaching, as well as top business executives who bring real-world/real-time business experience into the classroom. This combination of extensive business experience with academic training makes the learning at Sacred Heart University truly unique.
