Kathleen Healy MS, MA, RD, CD-N, NCC
Registered Dietitian, National Certified Counselor

Kathleen focuses mainly on students with eating issues, including those with eating disorders and body image concerns. She also works with students and athletes who may have special dietary concerns. She has many years experience as a Registered Dietitian, starting out in hospitals, nursing homes, returning for a Master’s level degree in Nutrition, working for a Food Management Company, as well as working with people with disabilities. Kathleen completed her counseling studies at Fairfield University but did her internship and counseling practicum here at Sacred Heart. Kathleen has consulted for several pediatricians and an internist group for almost 15 years and totally enjoys the one on one experience with clients. She worked here briefly after graduation and now returns to SHU again.

The fit of the nutrition and counseling backgrounds works very well in helping Kathleen assist students so their journey to a more healthful relationship with food.
