Karen T. Cascini, Professor of Accounting, received her Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant.   Dr. Cascini is currently the Chair of the Accounting and Information Systems.

Her teaching experience includes, International Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, The European Union, Ethical Issues in Accounting and Financial Accounting. She has lectured and presented research findings on international accounting issues at many universities around the world.

Dr. Cascini is the author of numerous journal articles on such topics as international accounting and financial accounting issues. In addition, she is an accounting and tax consultant to small businesses and individuals. 

Dr. Cascini is a member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs, the American Accounting Association, the International Section of the AAA, and the International Accounting Education Association, and various community organizations.
