FAIRFIELD, Conn., April 26, 2004—President Anthony J. Cernera, Ph.D., has announced that Vikki L. Pryor, President and CEO of SBLI USA Mutual Life Insurance Company, Inc., will address graduates at Sacred Heart University's  38th  Annual Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony, to be held on Sunday, May 16, 2004. The ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.

Ms. Pryor will receive an honorary doctorate degree, Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.  Other honorary doctorate degrees will be awarded to the Rev. Prof. Pádraig Ó Fiannachta, Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, and Sr. Doris Smith, S.C., Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, (posthumously).

William E. Mitchell, co-owner and president of Mitchells of Westport, will deliver the Graduate Commencement address on Saturday, May 15, 2004. The ceremonies will begin at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Mitchell will receive an honorary doctorate degree, Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.
