Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport on May 19th by the Most Reverend William E. Lori, Bishop of Bridgeport. A native of Poland, where he received his early education, Father Mariusz completed his studies at the Catholic University of America in Washington. He celebrated his first Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Stamford, his home parish in Connecticut. Father Mariusz is shown giving Holy Communion to his mother, Mrs. Teresa Olbrys.
