Dr. Pamela Levangie Earns Top National Honors from American Physical Therapy Association
For the second time in three years, a member of Sacred Heart University's Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Science has earned national honors as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow. The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) has recognized Dr. Pamela K. Levangie, a professor and associate chair of the department, for her "sustained national leadership, influence and achievement in the field of physical therapy." Read more...
Mary Lou DeRosa Named Dean of University College
Mary Lou DeRosa, MBA, has been named dean of the University College according to an announcement by Dr. Thomas V. Forget, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at Sacred Heart University. She began service on Monday, February 2nd, 2009. DeRosa has been interim Dean of University College since November of 2007. DeRosa manages the enrollments for 700 part time, adult students and the Stamford Campus. Women's Lax Beats St. Francis for 6th-Straight Win
Sacred Heart got goals for 10 different Pioneers on their way to their sixth-straight win Sunday afternoon, beating Saint Francis (PA) 16-3 to stay unbeaten in the Northeast Conference at 4-0. The Pioneers got five points apiece from senior Amanda Williams and junior Carissa Hauser in the win, raising their record to 7-5 on the year. Read more...
