The Department of Art & Design would like to invite you to the 17th Art & Design Expo at Sacred Heart University in the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.
This year’s guest speaker is artist & designer Miggs Burroughs
Past speakers have included such notable artist’s as Murray Tinkelman, Jerry Pinkney, Chaz Maviyane-Davies,
Wendell Minor and Donato Giancola to name a few.
At 10:30 AM Miggs Boroughs will give his presentation in the Edgerton.
9:00 A.M.: High School Students arrive at the Gallery of Contemporary Art to view the 2009
Art & Design Student Exhibition
10:30 AM: Guest Speaker’s Presentation
12:30 PM: High school students return to their respective buses
As always the event is free to all and refreshments will be available.
