Dr. Xiaomei Feng has served as Director of Institutional Research at Sacred Heart University since 2005.
Dr. Feng brought 20 years of experience in higher education as well as a broad range of expertise to her position here at Sacred Heart University. She worked in three institutional research offices, including community college, four-year public and private institutions, and she has extensive experience in program evaluation, outcomes assessment, data analysis, and survey development and administration.
Dr. Feng earned a B.A. in Education from Beijing Normal University in
her native China. Her graduate studies have been in special education, research methodology and statistics. She holds the following graduate degrees: M.A. (Washington State University); Ed.S. (University of Nevada, Las Vegas); Ph.D. (Utah State University). Dr. Feng was also assistant professor of Psychology at Beijing Normal University from 1985-1990. Prior to her coming to Sacred Heart University, she served as Assistant Director of the Office of Institutional Research at Tufts University in Massachusetts.
