National Band Fraternity Hosts Conference at SHU
 On Valentine's Weekend, Sacred Heart University's National Honorary Band Fraternity hosted 250 university band members from across the Northeast.  Sacred Heart Claims NEC Regular Season Title with 70-50 Win Over Monmouth
The Sacred Heart Pioneers clinched the 2009 Northeast Conference Regular Season Championship Saturday afternoon beating the Monmouth Hawks, 70-50, in the William H. Pitt Center. Five Pioneers scored in double figures as the team shot 52.8% (28-53) from the field to win their 15th-straight game and stay perfect in the NEC at 16-0 with the win. The Pioneers tied their school record of 16 conference wins and have a chance to become just the third team in league history to run the table with two games to play. Read more...
