Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is a national organization with more than 480 affiliated agencies. For over 85 years, volunteer Big Brothers and Big Sisters have been helping boys and girls from single-parent families make the sometimes difficult transition into adulthood. The Big Brothers Big Sisters philosophy is that the quality time an adult spends with a child does make a difference in the child's life. Members support the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization by providing opportunities for ‘big' and ‘little' brothers and sisters to come together for days of fun and games at Sacred Heart University: e.g., Halloween, Christmas, and Spring Fling parties.
