SCHOLARS COMMONS

Located in the northwest corner of the University's property, these buildings were the first residence halls constructed on campus.  Scholars Commons consists of four buildings (Augustine Hall, Aquinas Hall, Avila Hall and Newman Hall) with ten garden-style apartments in each, housing 300 sophomore students.  Each apartment features three bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and dining area. Laundry facilities, vending machines and a refuse room are located in each building. Scholars Commons is also conveniently located next to the Campus Field and William H. Pitt Recreational Center.
