Who Are We?

The Band Council is a student organization that provides support for the Pioneer Band Programs. Our roles include fundraising, organizing trips, planning the Annual Pioneer Bands Banquet, recruiting, coordinating events during Pre-season camp, and much more. We are also responsible for sponsoring the Evening Activities that conclude each Camp Day. As a member of the University's Council of Clubs & Organizations, we also sponsor several campus wide events for SHU students and partake in community service.

Philosophy

The SHUBC is proud to promote the Pioneer Bands' tradition. We are here to share and maintain the enthusiasm, dedication and pride that the Pioneer Bands Programs apply to everything they do. Because after all, it's nothin' but HEART!
