Here resides Hawley Lounge, the University Chapel, Student Union and The Gallery of Contemporary Art.  At Hawley Lounge, students mingle, play a game of pool, or just relax between classes. The Dean of Students and Student Affairs offices are located on the upper level.  The University Chapel offers Eucharist daily for the University community. Also housed in the Academic Building are the Office of Public Safety, the Pioneer Food Court which is the students' main dining hall and includes the Outpost Pub, Campus Ministry, the SHU Marketplace, WHRT Student Radio, Office of Service Learning & Volunteer Programs, Mail Center & Print Shop, Buildings and Grounds, University Commons, and the Music department.
