Shery Watson, MSN, RN, Instructor, Sacred Heart University Nursing Program. Shery has received a MSN from Quinnipiac University, and a BSN from Fairfield University.  She is also nationally certified in emergency nursing and a sexual assault nurse examiner.  Her expertise and scholarly interests focus on emergency and critical care nursing, interpersonal violence and international nursing.

Professor Watson leads international volunteer medical missions through her local charity, P.R.N. Relief International.  The missions provide free medical and surgical care, medicines and health education to the impoverished in third world countries, primarily in Jamaica and Liberia.

Prior to joining the faculty at Sacred Heart, Professor Watson was an adjunct instructor at Fairfield University.  Additionally, she was an emergency department nurse manager and unit educator at a local hospital.
