Students eligible for a degree must apply for graduation through the Office of the University Registrar. Degrees are conferred three times a year in May, August and December. Students wishing to participate in the May 2012 commencement ceremony and/or graduate in May or August 2012 should apply for graduation as soon as possible. Students may apply for graduation on-line by logging on to WebAdvisor and clicking the link labeled “Application for Graduation” under the Academic Planning heading.
Graduate and Part-time students will be billed a graduation fee approximately one month before the expected date of graduation. The graduation fee is not refundable. In the event the student does not complete the requirements for the degree within one year of the originally indicated date, a new application and fee will be required. Full-time students pay the fee as part of their tuition and will not be billed separately.
