Brothers and Sisters Unite at Heart - Northern Precinct Convention 2009
This February 13th-14th, the LamBDA Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi hosted the 2009 Precincts Convention for members of both Kappa Kappa Psi and its sister organization, Tau Beta Sigma. Brothers and Sisters from as far north as Maine came down to Sacred Heart for a day of meetings and socialization.
Brothers and Sisters participated in workshops about fundraising, leadership, preserving band history, and more. Members also spent time sharing ideas about how to improve their respective bands, and exploring ways for each chapter to help its program grow and improve. Guests who arrived on Friday night camped out inside the Pitt Center and spent the night forming bonds with members of other chapters.
Brother Emily Stack was the Precincts Chair, and was instrumental in the success of the event. Even throughout the stress of the weekend, Emily had smiles for everyone.
