JENNIFER MCLAUGHLIN, MA
Jennifer McLaughlin, MA, [ABD] Instructor of American History, Director of Women's Studies, and Freshman Advisor; received her BA from Fordham University, and an MA from The College of William and Mary, and is currently writing her dissertation for a PhD at William and Mary, entitled "We Can Find Them No Relief: James Monroe and the Plight of American Seamen, 1800-1812." 

Teaching Areas: Colonial and Nineteenth-century American history, Early modern British history.

Research Interest: Early modern North Atlantic Maritime history.

Ms. McLaughlin is a member of the American Historical Association, and Phi Alpha Theta.
