ACADEMIC ADVISORS FOR SOCIOLOGY
All Sociology majors must be assigned a Sociology advisor as early as possible during their college years. The structure of the curriculum demands that students make sure that they are properly advised in order for them to meet the requirements. Each student is free to choose his/her advisor provided this advisor has not already reached a number of advisees who will make it difficult for him/her to properly serve his/her advisees. In this case, the student will be assigned an adviser by the Sociology Program faculty. The offices of the Sociology Program advisors are located on the second floor of the Administration Building. The departmental phone number is 203-371-7760 and the Academic Department Assistant is Mrs. Elizabeth Cross. She can be reached via e-mail at: crosse@sacredheart.edu.
The faculty advisor for the Sociology program is Professor Stephen Lilley, PhD. He can be reached via e-mail at: lilleys@sacredheart.edu.
