SARAH HEIMAN, M.DIV.
Campus Minister for Education and Spiritual Life
Sarah Heiman serves the Sacred Heart community as the Campus Minister for Education and Spiritual Life. She oversees the retreats, prayer liturgies, and educational events relating to the Catholic social and intellectual traditions, and is particularly interested in collaborating with other university departments on their programming. In addition to advising several student groups, Sarah is also available to meet with students one-on-one if they have any questions or seek spiritual guidance.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity from Yale University, and was extremely active during her time there at Saint Thomas More, the Catholic Chapel & Center at Yale. From Fall 2006-Spring 2008, she coordinated retreats, created and led prayer services, directed an alternative spring break trip, and organized theological and educational forums for the entire Saint Thomas More community in her role as Pastoral Intern. In addition to her responsibilities at Sacred Heart, Sarah serves as the coordinator for a young adult leadership program jointly sponsored by Saint Thomas More and the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management.
Sarah invites you to stop by her office in the Campus Ministry Center, where you may be the lucky recipient of her latest baking creations. She may be reached at 203-371-7841 or via email at heimans@sacredheart.edu.
