FOCUS – Career and Educational Planning System
Sacred Heart University students and alumni may access the FOCUS online career and educational planning program. FOCUS is a self-paced, computerized career guidance and information system that helps students with the decision-making process involved in planning for a career. With FOCUS, complete a self-assessment of your interests, values, and skills and then see how they are related to majors and potential career paths.
If this is your first time using this system, you must establish a new account. New users must email careerdeve@sacredheart.edu and request an access code to establish an account.
Returning users should enter their login information. You do not need to create another account to reuse FOCUS, your original account remains active and will store all your results each time you use it as long as you don’t stop in the middle of an assessment. Remember that the system is cAsE SeNsITivE!
After you complete FOCUS it is highly recommended that you meet with a career counselor! A counselor can interpret your results, connect you with additional resources, and help you develop a plan of action.
