Residential Life and Housing Services closes all residence halls for breaks between undergraduate semesters and for any extended semester breaks.  You must complete this form if you need to stay in the residence halls longer than the University allows or need to arrive before the set move-in date. This form must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Note: Any violation of the student conduct code during the intercession period will result in the immediate termination of the applicants stay without refund.  Coaches are ultimately responsible for the conduct of their players.

Expenses: The cost of intercession housing is $35.00 per night.  Fees will be billed to your student account.  International students with no host family and in-season athletes who are competing in a varsity sport can get the intercession fee waived with proper documentation.

Room Access: The Office of Residential Life will grant you access to your room based on the information you share when submitting this form.  If you are assigned to Merton Hall, Seton Hall, Roncalli Hall, Christian Witness Commons, or Scholars Commons, you will need to stop by Public Safety when you arrive to campus to have your ID programmed, granting you access to your assignment.  If you are assigned to Oakwood, Parkridge, Park Royal, or Taft Commons, please stop by the Public Safety Office in the Main Building to acquire your keys.

Important Information for upper class students about Early Arrivals for the Fall Semester:

Upper class students living in Roncalli, Scholars Commons, Christian Witness Commons, Taft, Park Royal, Park Ridge, and Oakwood are NOT permitted to request an early arrival on Sunday August 31, due to Freshman move-in occurring that day.  You may request an early arrival for Saturday August 30 and will be charged only for that day.
