SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY’S 19th ANNUAL PIONEER OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT SCHOLARSHIP FUND

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sacred Heart University's 19th Annual Pioneer Open Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, June 2nd, with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. At 6:30 p.m., dinner and an awards presentation will close the day. The tournament will take place at the Rockrimmon Country Club in Stamford, Conn.

The Pioneer Open raises valuable scholarship funds for deserving SHU students. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the tournament directly support the University’s Scholarship Fund. Nearly 90% of SHU students receive some form of financial assistance, without which, college may not be a reality. In the tournament’s history, more than $500,000 in direct scholarship assistance has been raised.
