Horseshoe Crab Spawning Survey Dates and Protocols

Instructions, survey times, and associated data sheets for the 2012 Horseshoe crab spawning season

2012 Survey Dates  

   May 3, 5, 7 (Full moon)

May 18, 20, 22 (New moon)     June 2, 4, 6 (Full moon)

June 17, 19, 21 (New moon)      July 1, 3, 5  (Full moon)

Day and night high tides will be surveyed on the above dates.  Tidal times are available in PDF format below for General Areas in CT and NY.
