JANET BETTS, MARS
Janet Betts, MARS, joined Sacred Heart University in the fall of 1998.  Janet completed both her undergraduate and Master of Religious Studies degrees at Sacred Heart University.  Janet has several roles in the Graduate Program in Occupational Therapy serving as the Assistant Coordinator of Fieldwork and Program Assistant. In addition to handling the logistics of placing Occupational Therapy students in clinical affiliations, her role includes undergraduate advising for pre-OT students, handling inquiries about the program, and working as a liaison with Graduate Admissions in the application process.  Janet also serves as an adjunct instructor co-teaching a course entitled Spirituality in Health Care, a course she helped design and develop.

Janet shares her life and home with her husband and two daughters – one of whom is currently a full-time Sacred Heart University student.  In her spare time, she enjoys watching old movies, gardening, home improvement projects, and spending time with her family and friends in Rhode Island.
