The Sacred Heart Men's Club Lacrosse Team is gearing up to begin its second full season as a member of the National Club Lacrosse League. During the 2009 spring season the Hitmen emerged as a strong contender in the NY Metro Division, earning a playoff berth in their first full season. The team boasted impressive wins over Hofstra, Fordham, NYU, and Albany last year en route to the playoffs. The team travelled to Kutztown University for their first post-season game and were defeated by a score of 9-12. Despite the playoff loss, the team is looking forward to building on their 2009 campaign by earning a second playoff berth and pushing for an NCLL championship in 2010.
