With online profiles bursting at the web seams, it’s no wonder that high school students and admissions officers are utilizing social networking for their college search and recruiting. Web sites like Admish.com, Cappex.com, EdSoup.com and Zinch.com, among many others, allow students to profile themselves beyond “the test score”. On the flip side, college admission recruiters are using these sites to profile and market their schools, while simultaneously searching out prospective students.
