The mission of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) is to support the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide. Mu Delta’s members are nursing scholars committed to the pursuit of excellence in clinical practice, education, research and leadership.
Applicants for this scholarship must be in compliance with the eligibility criteria for candidacy within Sigma Theta Tau International. Membership is NOT required to apply. Applications will be accepted between January 1st and March 15th. Eligibility criteria include:
Undergraduate Scholarship:
- Demonstration of superior academic achievement (completed ½ of nursing curriculum in a BSN program, cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale);
- Adherence to academic integrity
- Demonstration of professional leadership

Graduate Scholarship:
- Master's students demonstrate superior academic achievement (completed at least 1/4 of the nursing curriculum with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 grading scale)
- Adherence to academic integrity.
- Demonstration of professional leadership

Preference for these scholarships will be awarded to students of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
