Hello,

I’m Sean Heffron, Head Coach of the Club Baseball team here at Sacred Heart University. I have to start by saying I couldn’t be coaching a better group of guys. Their talent on the field is equal to their attitude and character off the field. That’s what you get when you join this team. You’ll have the opportunity to play competitive intercollegiate baseball for a team that not only has a blast, but has made the playoffs in both Fall and Spring leagues for the last 5 seasons. In addition, you’ll meet a solid group of friends to show you what you need to know about being away at college, and playing the game you love.

We are fortunate enough to offer two teams, one that plays in conference games, along with a non-conference team that plays against other colleges in the NY, NJ, CT, MA area. This team is currently coached by Matt Musico, former Pioneer and MVP of the NCBA. The non-conference team is a great place for some first-year students to get their swings in, while others travel with the conference team to play official NECBA (Fall) and NCBA (Spring) games.
