DR. JOHN MICHNIEWICZ PERFORMS AT PRINCETON UNIVERSITY 2/20

Dr. John Michniewicz performs on the historic Aeolian-Skinner/Mander pipe organ at Princeton University Chapel as part of the Chapel's organ recital series.  The organ features 134 ranks of pipes in the large, reverberant gothic space.

The concert takes place on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 at 12:30 PM

The program will include a variety of French, German and American organ pieces:

"Allegro" from Symphony No. 6 for Organ, Charles-Marie Widor

"Outer Hebrides, A Fantasia on Three Traditional Celtic Tunes" Paul Halley

Two Chorale Preludes on "O Sacred Head Surrounded" Johannes Brahms, Jean Langlais

"Rhapsody Gregorianne" Jean Langlais
