DR. JUDEA PEARL, FATHER OF SLAIN WALL STREET REPORTER, SPEAKS AT SHU
FAIRFIELD – Last week, SHU’s Student Affairs Lecture Series presented Dr. Judea Pearl, noted scholar and father of slain Wall Street Journal reporter, Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and murdered by Islamic extremists in Pakistan in 2002.
Pearl, a professor of computer science at UCLA since 1969, whose work has focused on artificial intelligence, started the Daniel Pearl Foundation to promote peace and understanding between cultures.
