The Administrative Services Department of Information Technology strives to provide the Sacred Heart University community with high quality technological services. We provide campus-wide support and services to the faculty, staff and students. Administrative Services is comprised of several unique areas.
Administrative IT provides support and training for the various software applications used by the administrative staff throughout this campus. Procurement & Asset Management purchases and tracks all of the computer systems on campus. The Mail Center, Duplicating Center and Letter Shop also fall under the realm of Administrative Services.
Sacred Heart University is part of a select group of academic institutions that embrace a mobile computing philosophy. Our Mobile Computing Program issues a laptop to all full-time faculty members and all full-time undergraduate students in support of our mission of “anytime, anywhere” learning. Additionally, we provide campus-wide technical support of all things technology-related. We recently introduced our new technology service center – The Factory – to the Sacred Heart Community. The Factory is comprised of three areas, the Call Center and the Notebook Service Center and Pioneer Computing.
