RUSSELL P. ENGEL, PH.D., ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Russell P. Engel, Assistant Professor of Business Economics, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Florida State University in 2001. He continued at Florida State University and received his Ph. D. in Economics in 2007. While at Florida State University, Dr. Engel taught principles classes as a graduate instructor and was a Quinn Fellow working with the experimental economics group. His research interests are in Applied Microeconomics, Experimental Economics and Game Theory. Russell’s recent research uses economic experiments to examine labor market contracts and risk preferences. He is a member of the American Economic Association, Southern Economic Association, and the Economic Science Association.
