Mrs. Ouellette came to Sacred Heart University in 2005 from Fairfield University, where she served as the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine.
She returned home to
Connecticut in 2000 after completing her B.S in Athletic Training at
Northeastern University in
Boston, Massachusetts. She received her graduate degree from
Fairfield University, earning a M.A. in Secondary Education/Curriculum Design in 2002.
Mrs. Ouellette worked with a variety of NCAA Division I teams while at Fairfield University. These teams included Men’s Ice Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball and Baseball. She also served as an approved clinical instructor to students in the Sacred Heart University Athletic Training Program while at Fairfield University. Mrs. Ouellette remains clinically active as an athletic trainer at Weston High School, where she works with a variety of high school sports throughout the school year. As a part-time clinical faculty member in the HMSS program, her teaching assignments have included evaluation and management of athletic injuries, Aspects of Clinical Medicine, and the junior and senior clinical practicum courses.
