SANDRA YOUNG, PH.D.
Sandra Young, Ph.D., Associate Professor of English, received her doctorate from the University of Louisville in 1996 and joined the SHU faculty in 1999. She is the Director of the Freshman Communications Program and the Co-Director of the Academic Incentive Program. Dr. Young teaches courses in composition, communication, literature, and creative writing. Her research interests include composition and communication pedagogy and the intersections of composition and creative writing theory and pedagogy. She has published in Composition Studies, Pedagogy, Radical Teacher, and others.
