Jing’an Tang is an assistant professor of management at the John F. Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He received his Ph.D. in business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. He earned an MBA from the University of Maryland at College Park and B.A. in economics from Renmin University of China in Beijing. He teaches strategic management and international business courses. His research is focused on international strategy, foreign peer networks and foreign subsidiary performance. He has presented his research at the Academy of Management (AOM), Academy of International Business (AIB) and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC). He won the best paper award from the International Management Division at the AOM meeting in 2006 and honorable mention award (2nd place) from the international business division at the ASAC meeting in 2004.
