CAROL HAMPTON, M.S.
Carol Carr Hampton joined the English Department at Sacred Heart University in 1999. She ia a Freshman Academic Advisor and teaches public speaking, academic writing, and literature. Prior to joining the faculty at SHU, she taught English in the Stratford School System and retired after 25 years of service. She has served as advisor for a literary magazine and conducted leadership training in her community. Her active membership in Les Treize, Inc. includes the awarding of college scholarships to students in the Bridgeport area. Professor Hampton graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut, and she received a master's degree in 1974 and a sixth year in 1983 from the University of Bridgeport. Contact info:
