FIRST COMMUNION, CONFIRMATIONS CELEBRATED AT SHU COMMUNITY MASS
 Four members of the Sacred Heart University community ended the academic year on a very special note. After a period of instruction, fellowship and prayer, Mike James Gemza was received into full communion with the Catholic Church at a Mass that included his First Holy Communion and Confirmation. He is a communication system technician in the University’s IT Department. At the same University Commons Liturgy, celebrated on Sunday evening, April 15th, three students were confirmed in the Catholic Church. They are Gary Alan Guertin, Jr., Lisa Maria Henselder and Jamie Morales. The University chaplain, Father Jean Ehret, concelebrated the Mass with Father Mark Villano, C.S.P., the University’s director of Campus Ministry. Dr. Anthony J. Cernera, University president, shared reflections with Father Ehret at the service.
