On June 5, the John F. Welch College of Business of Sacred Heart University in Luxembourg and the ICN Business School signed a cooperative agreement promoting scholarly activities and international understanding. This will allow graduate students from both institutions to take some courses in a French or American university. This first agreement between the two schools will also allow professors to teach in both institutions and explore potential mutually beneficial research.

The John F. Welch College of Business of Sacred Heart University has it main campus in Fairfield, Connecticut, and an international campus located in the financial area of Luxembourg. For 16 years, it has been providing Master of Business Administration degrees and professional certificates.

The ICN Business School, formerly the “Institut Commercial de Nancy,” was created in 1905 by the University of Nancy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Meurthe-and-Moselle. The ICN Business School has 2,000 students studying in six graduate and three undergraduate programs.

Both institutions recently earned prestigious accreditations: AACSB for the John F. Welch College of Business and EQUIS for the ICN Business School.

The agreement was signed in Nancy by Dr. Stephen Brown, dean of the John F. Welch College of Business, and Dr. Stéphane Boiteux, general director of ICN Business School.
