Creative Approaches to Teaching and Learning
As one of the leading Catholic universities in New England, we’re constantly examining ways to make a Sacred Heart education an even more powerful experience for our students. At times we make changes in small increments. Now, 
however, we’re at a pivotal point in the direction of our University.
We have chosen to undertake the single-largest campus transformation in the University’s history, constructing a new Chapel, Library and Humanities Center. The proposed Humanities Center will house classrooms and faculty offices, and be linked both physically and philosophically to the proposed Library.
This complex will form a center for campus academic life that’s unparalleled among our fellow universities, and represents the next chapter in the development of our University. The Humanities Center will feature flexible, open spaces where students and faculty can interact daily, both academically and personally.
