Project Limulus Database
We have developed dashboards (i.e. virtual windows) that allow educators to view our data relating to horseshoe crabs tagged by site and year as well as where we recaptured them. All of the data from 1997-2007 are now available to examine through the dashboards below. Click on the following link to access the dashboards.
Data Visualization Dashboard
Tag Data Dashboard: Select a state from the drop down menu. All of the locations we have tagged crabs will appear in the table on the left hand side of the dashboard. Click on a location and the number of crabs tagged by year will appear in the graph on the right hand side of the dashboard. The sex ratio for the location will appear in the pie chart in the middle of the dashboard. The location will also be mapped at the bottom of the dashboard.
Recapture Data Dashboard: Select a state from the drop down menu. Click on a location. The number and sex of crabs that have been recapture will appear in the pie chart in the middle of the dashboard. The individual tag numbers will appear on the right hand side of the dashboard. Click on a tag number and the recapture location (red dot) and original tag location (Blue star) will appear on the map below.
