Brian Hartley is an Adjunct Instructor with the Music Program teaching Applied Guitar Instruction.
Brian received his training at The Hartford Conservatory, graduating at the top of his class with high honors.
He is continuing his study through Charter Oak State College. Brian has been teaching guitar and bass since 1998. Brian currently participates in several bands, proving a very versatile ability. His bands include jazz and pop, blues, rock, polka, folk and funk. In addition to playing guitar and bass, Brian also does vocals. His bands have performed at the Special Olympics, Race For A Cure, Polycystic Kidney Research Foundation, Opsail 2000,The Big E, The Mohegan Sun Arena, and he has regular entertainment engagements. Weekly, Brian is the solo guitarist who performs at the Mass for St. Mary's Church in
East Hartford, CT. He has performed in musicals, including the production of ‘Man Of Lamancha', ‘Godspell' and ‘Batboy'.
He is also a member of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences), and is a voting member for the Grammy awards.
