Audrey Beauvais MSN, MBA, RN, Sacred Heart University Nursing Program. Audrey has recently joined the nursing faculty at
Sacred Heart University.
Mrs. Beauvais earned her BSN degree from
Fairfield University and earned both her MSN and MBA degrees from
Sacred Heart University.
Professionally, Mrs. Beauvais has worked as a psychiatric and mental health nurse at
Silver Hill Hospital and was a clinical case manager at Value Behavioral Health.
For the past 11 years, Mrs. Beauvais has worked in various leadership positions at
Stamford Hospital such as the nurse manager of the psychiatric and pediatric units, case manager, and performance improvement coordinator.
Most recently, Mrs. Beauvais was the Magnet Coordinator that successfully led Stamford Hospital in the pursuit of Magnet recognition. The Magnet Recognition ProgramTM is a prestigious designation administered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for excellence in nursing practice. Mrs. Beauvais has earned a range of formal certifications in the areas of psychiatric mental health nursing and nurse case management. Additionally, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University. Her current research interests are focused on the relationship between emotional intelligence and nursing perfomance in nursing students.
