HEATHER MARCHAND joined the Office of Career Development as a Career Placement Advisor in November 2005. In this role, Heather assists Computer Science, English, Spanish, Math, History, Exercise Science, Chemistry, Education, Human Movement/Sports Science, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology/ED and Sociology/ED students on internship and job search coaching. Additionally, Heather is responsible for planning employer related events such as Career Fairs and industry panels. A 2003 graduate of Sacred Heart University, Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Heather's industry experience has included serving as an Insurance Service Professional at Allmerica Financial, and most recently providing market research support on the Kraft Foods account for AC Nielsen. Heather's corporate experience has served her well providing her with the skills necessary to play an instrumental role in the Office of Career Development assisting her students.
