Becoming a member of the University College community is easy. Before you begin, take note of the following:
- Part-time day and evening undergraduate students, AHEAD, weekend university and summer school students are admitted through University College.
- Students seeking admission to University College DO NOT need prior college experience to begin their studies and standardized tests ARE NOT required.
- University College advisors are available for appointments both day and evening. To schedule an appointment, call 203-371-7830 or email !uc@sacredheart.edu.
- Get credit for prior learning. We accept the following
First Time Students
- Schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor.
- Apply online or download and complete the application form. There is a non-refundable application fee.
- Submit a copy of your high school diploma or GED.
- Provide documentation of adequate immunization against measles and rubella
- You may register with an advisor's signature as an in-process student prior to receipt of your record.
Transfer Students
Fax a copy of your college transcript(s) to University College at 203-365-7500.
Schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor.
Apply online or download and complete the application form. There is a non-refundable application fee.
Provide documentation of adequate immunization against measles and rubella.

- Confirm with your current college that they will accept credits from Sacred Heart University.
- Contact University College regarding class availability.
- Complete the registration form and have it signed by a University College advisor.
- Bring your registration form to the Office of the Registrar or fax it to 203-365-7500 and the University College staff will assist you. There is a registration fee.
