BECOME A MEMBER OF THE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE COMMUNITY

Becoming a member of the University College community is easy. Before you begin, take note of the following:

  1. Part-time day and evening undergraduate students, AHEAD, weekend university and summer school students are admitted through University College.
  2. Students seeking admission to University College DO NOT need prior college experience to begin their studies and standardized tests ARE NOT required.
  3. University College advisors are available for appointments both day and evening. To schedule an appointment, call 203-371-7830 or email !uc@sacredheart.edu.
  4. Get credit for prior learning.  We accept the following

First Time Students

  1. Schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor.
  2. Apply online or download and complete the application form. There is a non-refundable application fee.
  3. Submit a copy of your high school diploma or GED.
  4. Provide documentation of adequate immunization against measles and rubella
  5. You may register with an advisor's signature as an in-process student prior to receipt of your record.

Transfer Students

  1. Fax a copy of your college transcript(s) to University College at 203-365-7500.
  2. Schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor.
  3. Apply online or download and complete the application form. There is a non-refundable application fee.
  4. Provide documentation of adequate immunization against measles and rubella.
  5. You may register with an advisor's signature as an in-process student prior to receipt of your record.

Visiting Students

  1. Confirm with your current college that they will accept credits from Sacred Heart University.
  2. Contact University College regarding class availability.
  3. Complete the registration form and have it signed by a University College advisor.
  4. Bring your registration form to the Office of the Registrar or fax it to 203-365-7500 and the University College staff will assist you.  There is a registration fee.
